This affordable fashion outfit was inspired by wanting to wear my faux leather leggings (also worn here) to work again. I grabbed this popover top because it is long enough to cover my bum haha. Necessary for work IMO. Seeing people where leggings as pants in the work place makes me shiver. Then I layered this wrap on top of it to give some dimension.
I don’t know why, but wraps just read “luxury” to me. They are a tiny bit impractical the way they hang about. And there is no fastener to keep it out of the way, even if you throw one side over your shoulder. It seems like a ladies who lunch sort of garment to me. But it’s also luxurious, in a different way, because you can wrap up in it wherever you happen to be & sort of swaddle yourself haha.
The purse is also from the bins & was in very good shape. I really like the “lady bag-ness” of it all & enjoyed carrying it for a week. It will end up in my Poshmark closet since it’s not my favorite shape of bag. It has some interesting division inside – three sections – that didn’t work with what I typically carry. I’m sure someone will give it another life & absolutely love it!
