This was an easy outfit. It was inspired by the candy stripe metallic sweater that a friend gave me after it didn’t work for her. Best to keep everything else simple when wielding such a eye-popping piece, I feel. I went with slim dark jeans & dressy flats (also worn here). The neutral bag doesn’t blend in but kind of matches the gold in the sweater, so it’s not too focus pulling.

The styling is nothing earth shattering but sometimes throwing on a top, bottom & shoes is just fine. Overall it was a comfy but still special outfit. 10 out of 10.

Side note: The sweater reminds me of Kurt Geiger quite a bit. I have been obsessed with his metallic rainbow pieces since the brand came to my attention. Some days it’s very tempting to pare down to all black clothing & just invest my money in his accessories. Oh how I love rainbows & shine!
