Knickers? Hammer pants? Pretty?

 There have been a lot of musings lately around the blogospere re: hammer pants - another awful fad I thought I would never see revived. (See StyleDash, Fashionista, etc... ) The mind reels.
However, The Sartorialist captured this girl that actually makes them look, dare I say it?, pretty.
Another interesting bit, for me, is that I stumbled upon a pair of Alice Temperley for Target pants on my last shopping trip that totally remind me of this photo. They are in my store now - brand new with tags - & are a chic combo of navy & black. I think someone will really be able to work them & I’d love the see the result.
