I only got a couple listings up this week. It seems the longer the weekend the less I get done. Sound familiar to anyone?

I have been shopping at the thrift lately. In fact, I’ve been to two different ones this week. First, St. Matthews House Thrift Store since my friend Mel keeps insisting it’s the best place on earth. Guess what – it is! I was seriously impressed with their selection. Then Friday night I went to my favorite haunt, one of the Goodwills here in town. I totally binged there as well. Then my crash came as I did my bills this morning. Yep, I could have done without the spending, but oh well. I’ll figure out how to make it up. Right after I go out to eat tonight. Sigh, will I ever be able to stop the spending? Geez…
Anyway, I came away with a great batch of goodies for me (top two pics) …
And for you (last photo)…
The more summery, lighter things will be going up on ebay fairly quickly while the heavier pieces will go in the fall. Just the line up of brand names is making me seriously drool. Louis Feraud, Yves Saint Laurent, Ralph Lauren, Nicole Miller, BCBG, Max Mara, Michael Kors, Calvin Klein, plus a new one to me – Isda&Co. I can’t wait to place these in their next loving home!
I got a few goodies listed on ebay from my latest thrifting adventures (post to come on that later this week).
Here is what I have for you – BCBG top (size XL), BCBG dress (size L), Ralph Lauren cargos – (size 10 & in the happiest shade of yellow) and Calvin Klein flats (size 9) in the most gorgeous shade of pewter leather. Click on the links to take you there! Photos below:

I just put up some great shoes on ebay. They are well beloved & taken care of but it’s just time for them to move on. I had way too many shoes that I wasn’t wearing. Hopefully someone will give them a happy home!

These are fabulous! They have a hidden 1.5″ platform plus a very tall heel – 4.5″. I haven’t even worn these out of the house! (BCBGirls)

Super comfy pair of wedge loafers in a creamy caramel suede. (Franco Sarto)

Patent peep-toe lace-up heels (Madden Girl)
I listed several goodies today, all cozy sweaters featuring cashmere or wool. But mostly cashmere – J. Crew, Sutton Studio (from Bloomingdales) & Belford are 100%. There’s also a lambswool/cashmere mix in a J. Crew cableknit. And a Willi Smith hoodie in merino wool. All great for the coming season! Click on through to my ebay page to see them!
I listed several goodies today – including a cashmere Ann Taylor turtleneck (total classic!), a men’s Dolce & Gabbana button-down, an Emanuel skirt suit, Clarks loafers, wool Ralph Lauren pants with leather trimmed pockets and a Nicole Miller dress with exposed zipper down the back. Click on through to my ebay page to see them!
I just put a few new listings up – 2 pair of shoes & 3 purses – check them out here. Brands: Lilly Pulitzer, Skechers, The Sak, Nine West, Kenneth Cole.
I’ve been cleaning out my wardrobe lately so I’ll hopefully be listing several things a week for a while.
I’m trying to become more classic, less fussy, less worked over. Maybe focus on classics with great accessories added on for spice. I have a feeling that would simplify my shopping. Plus I’m kind of over wearing weird stuff just for the sake of being weird. I mean, who am I really impressing anyway LOL?
So – here’s pics of all the new goodies. You can get to them by clicking the Shop button at the top of my page.

Nine West handbag
Kenneth Cole handbag
Lilly Pulitzer sandals – Size 8 1/2
The Sak Pink Label handbag
Skechers leather sneakers – Size 8
I’m going to quit selling on ebay. For real this time! I KNOW I’ve said this before!
So, yeah, I anticipate listing a bunch of things Wednesday night, Thursday and then again on Sunday. Hopefully I can burn through my stock before I change my mind. Click over to my listings page & check it out. Maybe you’ll find a great deal on something you can’t live without!
Don’t worry though, there will still be listings as I purge from the closet. How else would I buy new stuff?
This week, cats & kittens, I have several new things up for sale. Most are things that can be worn now while the weather hasn’t quite caught up to where we want to be. Layering is key when you dearly want to shop for spring & even summer & it’s not really warm yet. I recommend wearing these goodies over or even under other bits in order to get more wear now. Then when the weather is truly good – break them out with bare arms or toes!
A couple of favorites:
Dana Buchman wrap in stripy silk
Bandolino strappy heels in pink leather
There are also a couple DKNY pieces – a tank & a skirt – that are NWT & will be up in a bit. Exciting! See it all here.
I got some goodies up in ebay today. All my stock is pointing toward spring! I’ve got lots of bright colors & prints coming up as well as some great sandals!
My favorites right now are this Bob Mackie tee in aqua with black zebra stripingcomplete with sequins. Wheeeee! I found it at the thrift & it seems like it is brand new & unworn. Besides that it’s totally on trend with leggings, leather and all the tough shoes that I’ve been seeing. Or maybe under a blazer, which is also a key piece for spring. Which I love!
This dress is my other favorite of the week. I’ve been watching Project Runway, Season 3 & it so reminds me of Laura & her deeply plunging necklines on her classy dresses. I can NOT imagine looking that pulled together every minute. She amazes me with her constant polish. ANYway, this is a Nicole Miller Collection, size 14 dress in navy. Gorgeous & ca-lassy! I’m afraid to try it on – I may need to keep it! It’s really is such a classic piece. It comes with a matching jacket in size 10 (but they have pretty much the same measurements). The jacket has a seam coming apart but it’s fixable. They both have the tags attached. The price is off the dress tag but the jacket tag reads $165 orig. I was psyched when I came across this set!
There are a couple other nice pieces for spring or for layering till it gets ever warmer. So visit my listings and stay tuned because there will be more up next week!
