Recently launched: AmyCarriere.com’s (you’re on it!) home page

Design brief:  I was really having an issue with my blog.  It was stressing me out that I hardly ever updated & my focus was all over the place. I needed to streamline to make it easier to upkeep and easier to keep up with.

Before I started designing I spent time brainstorming to figure out what I wanted to focus on.  The answer came down to Design and Roller Derby – two major aspects of my life, although they are totally unrelated subjects.  Real Life itself seems to take a backseat but I still wanted to document it but in the easiest way possible.  I chose services that help me update on the fly & that I naturally use anyway for each element I included.

I designed the home page to be pretty and to point people in the right direction since I am still pretty bi-polar subject-wise.  I’m extremely happy with how it turned out & can’t stop looking at it.
