American Indian
Posted by admin | Under Accessories, Daily Outfits Friday Jul 10, 2009I built this outfit around the shoes. They were $7!!!! at Marshalls. They are Rampage – not super expensive, but (I think) super cute. They coordinate perfectly with this ochre-y braided belt & suede/metal necklace. The jacket (from Target) meshed well since it has a bit on warmth to it. I love the fringe but I didn’t want to look like Pocahontas so I added the navy & white striped top & jeans for a little traditional Americana. I felt a little like Atlantis Homewith her cuffed jeans, cute jackets & unique shoes. I know I didn’t quite capture her easy glamour, but I’m working on it LOL!
Rampage sandals, Kikit jeans, Walmart tee, Target jacket, American Eagle belt, DIY necklace & cuff, ring from Grandma, Bumpit hair bump

Every time you wear that jacket, I want it! And I’m liking the Bump It on you. Might have to get one…
@Tina – Don’t you have the same one in the blue tones? I love that one too. It’s a great mix of colors!
Love everything, especially the shoes and belt! I’m a huge belt fan and the “wrap”-type belts like the one you’re wearing are fantastic.
It’s weird, but I have this “thing” for Native American style shoes and accessories. I found a pair of flat sandals like yours, but the straps hurt my feet so I didn’t buy them. I still think about them though! I just love that kind of look.
@Anusha – Isn’t that the worst when something doesn’t fit & you want it so bad. There’s still a pair of Joan & David boots I think wistfully about…
