Here’s another unique take on a scarf. I draped it diagonally over my shoulder & tied it at the waist. Different, interesting. Enough to make your co-workers ask, “What are you wearing?”

I’ve heard of wearing a scarf in this style before, but I’ve never actually seen it. I might have to try it sometime – I like the elegance it lends to the outfit.

Very pretty! Never fails to amaze me how much a simple scarf or wrap can just transform an outfit. In last month’s People Style Watch magazine, there was a photo of Nicole Richie in a very simple black tee and dark jeans, with a vibrant red Indian-style shawl draped around her, which was just stunning. I must experiment with scarves more.

@Diana – it definitely is different. Elegance is a good word for it.
@Anusha – I know, I love all the pics of stars. They are almost always wearing the simplest outfit – cut-offs or jeans, tank, flats, but with the addition of a scarf they look amazing. I hope to be able to be so casually elegant one day.
