I worked the pearls & pins DIY necklace into this outfit. This dress seems very 40’s to me. I should have rolled bangs & red lipstick on, I suppose. It’s a very ladylike silhouette & I don’t often wear it because it just feels so dressed up.
The outfit is mostly on the very frugal side. Everything is thrifted, except for the shoes. They are Via Condotti & from TJMaxx. Can’t remember how much I spent, but it could have been up to $40 or so. I allow myself to spend more on Italian shoes & handbags. Oh, and the cami underneath was new from Target…

I’m so glad you wore this necklace today. Last time you posted about it, I bookmarked it so that I would try it myself. And I prompty forgot about it. I needs to go on my craft list. It’s so great.
And you look lovely today. I would LOVE to see you with rolled hair and red lipstick. Really I would love someone to show me how to roll my hair in that vintage style. I have never figured it out.

Oh THANKS! I don’t actually know how to do the rolled hair (yet) – I am a total beauty school dropout LOL. I do love red lips though:) My grandma used to hate when I’d wear them in high school.
